enjoy {The Winn's}

Paige did my family's photos recently, and now it was her and her husband Chris' turn {and their new puppy Quincy}! We are lucky to have this deal of ours... I think these turned out great, and we had a ton of fun shooting them too!

enjoy {The Britton Family}

{photos and post by paige}

The Britton's are a beautiful family, and it was a pleasure to work with them all! Will and Gavin are their sweet little guys that were so well behaved and fun. Thanks so much for the great shoot!

Chart House {Stacy and Rick married}

Stacy and Rick are a great couple. They had a beautiful wedding and reception at the Chart House in Lakeville. I was honored to be a part of their very special day. Congratulations!

Sam and Karl {engaged}

{photos and post by paige}

Sam and Karl were so patient and waited nearly a month to do their engagement session after the first date was cancelled because of rain... so, we were determined to shoot even though we had another drizzly day. They were so great and went with it in the cold and rain. I love their laid back personalities, and awesome sense of style... check out Sam's adorable shoes! Thanks again, and I am looking forward to the wedding day in July!

Paradise Valley, Arizona {Annie and Spencer married}

I had a wonderful time in Paridise Valley, AZ for Annie and spencer’s wedding. The wedding was at Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa which was right at the foot of Camelback mountain. I was in love with the sunset! Annie and Spencer were great to work with and I was honored that they asked me to come all the way to AZ for their big day. Best Wishes Annie and Spencer.

Baby Braydon {one year old}

Braydon is such a calm little guy. I had the privilege of photographing Cassie and Dan’s wedding a few years ago. Braydon was hard to get to smile which didn’t matter because he is still so cute.

{enjoy} Senior Anna

Anna is one of those girls that is just full of life. She is spunky and sweet. Congratulations on one last year of high school!

Walker Art Center and Loring Park {Ingrid and Robert engaged}

I had a great time taking Ingrid and Robert’s photos at the Walker Art Center. It is so inspiring when I get to shot at a place I haven’t been to for a while. I am looking forward to their wedding next year.

Kind words:

"There are certain experiences in our lives that provide us with enough genuine knowledge, courage, and passion to take a leap of faith toward a place we wish to be in life but aren’t confident enough to make it there on our own. In my life, I’ve only had a select few of these experiences and I can whole-heartedly say that Erin Johnson’s {enjoy} Workshop was one of the few. I entered the workshop feeling slightly discouraged because of how many fabulous photographers are out there – I thought, How can I ever live up to the amazing work these people do? I work a full-time job on top of pursuing photography on the side and definitely do not have the funds to buy the fancy equipment professional photographers carry in their bags or the time to wake up every morning and throw all my energy into my business. Who was I kidding? I couldn't do this, I thought. Erin proved me otherwise. She reminded me that we all start somewhere and though complex at times, if I truly put my heart and mind into it, I can do it. The information Erin shared with me was so beneficial – it wasn’t one of those days where I thought, Really? 12 hours? You expect me to sit here and learn for 12 hours? It was one of those days where I thought, Holy Cow, this woman is incredible! Teach me more, Teach me more, Teach me more – with the consecutive head bobs and school-girl-like-excited face. Erin taught me so much about everything – from marketing to accounting, from lenses to print products, from small details to client relationships. I drove home that night emanating sheer excitement to finally have enough tools to make my passion into reality. I can’t thank Erin enough for compiling such a fantastic workshop and for simply being such a wonderful person. I highly recommend other photographers to participate in the {enjoy} Workshop – I promise, you won’t be disappointed."

I highly recommend Erin's {enjoy} workshop to anyone who is thinking about starting, or has their own wedding photography business! It is great for sharing and creating ideas, whatever stage in the business process you are in. Erin goes through the "real" business questions, and is really open about her own business plan. She explains every aspect of both the business and photography side of creating and maintaining your own success. She gives real world examples, shares her story, and is very knowledgeable about the wedding and photography industry. She encourages ideas, gives feedback, and it is all in a professional, yet fun and laid back way! The workshop, and Erin, energized and organized my business plan! The day goes by so fast! I got so much out of it, and I honestly didn't want it to end! It is a little difficult to put in to words what all I experienced, but the workshop was such a blessing to me!

As soon as I learned of Erin's workshop I knew that I wanted to attend. I had followed Erin's blog for some time and was a fan of her work. Erin's style and eye is something to be admired and learning from her was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Prior to attending Erin's workshop, I struggled with knowing whether I was cut out for photography or not. There was a constant struggle between my mind and my heart on what to do with something I had a great passion for. From the second that Erin's workshop started, I was reinvigorated. Learning about everything from running the business to shooting, she covered it all. I was a true sponge for 12 hours. I learned more in the one day with Erin than a year on my own. She gave me the fast track to starting, growing and maintaining my business. Spending hours shooting with her was enlightening and incredibly inspiring. I took away techniques that I will use for years to come. It was a wonderful experience, one I would do again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone in the photography world.

Erin’s workshop was fantastic! My mind still feels like it is going to explode with all the amazing information she infused into my brain. Erin was super organized right from the beginning with an outline of topics and what materials I needed to bring to make the session even more beneficial to me. The day was organized with a detailed description of topics and worksheets that have become so valuable to me as I continue to reflect on the workshop and the information shared. Erin is amazingly generous! Her openness blew me away…no question of mine was left unanswered; Erin was willing to share EVERYTHING! If you are serious about jump starting or fine-tuning your photo business and your photographing skills I highly recommend Erin’s {enjoy} workshop….it was one of the best investments I have made in my business! Erin, you rock! Thank you so much!

I could go on and on about all the knowledge I have gained from my class with Erin. I have learned so much about all aspects of wedding photography, but most importantly, I have gained a great confidence in my ability as a photographer and a business person. She has incredible knowledge, and helps you with your personal vision of your style and business, not what she thinks you should be. The experience was amazing, plus the feedback on our work really made a big impact on all of us, and was a great learning experience. Erin has such an easy approachable style that makes her a great instructor and mentor. She is so open and willing to share all her knowledge with you. I haven't met many photographers that are strong in both the business side and the creative side, but Erin manages both beautifully. For me it was money well spent and I will use so much of the knowledge I gained in my photography business.

I attended Erin Johnson's one day {Enjoy} Wedding Photography workshop a couple weeks before my first shoot as a wedding photographer. The day went exactly how Erin described in her itinerary. We covered both the technical & business aspects of a wedding photographers business and we were encouraged to apply the information to our own photography style/business. We covered marketing, what to charge, equipment, as well as post processing. We also had a photo session in the afternoon with a couple as a bride and groom and as an engaged couple and received some honest feed back over dinner. Time just seemed to fly by.

Erin created a fun, open, and creative environment in which to learn. She has been willing to answer all my questions before, during and after the workshop. know this workshop was a key part of my preparation for my upcoming wedding shoot & for my future business as well. It was well worth the money spent. So if you are looking for a place to start or a way to take your photography to the next level this is a workshop you must attend.

I think Erin's {enjoy} workshop was absolutely wonderful. She has so much insight to every side of this business that it is so easy to fill the 12 hours. I left thinking I could have spent many more hours with her. Considering I work full time while pursuing freelance design and photography I always felt like I would never get there. She restored my confidence in myself and my shooting. It is so easy to turn a camera on auto and let it do it's "job", but with her help, I've gone back to my fully manual roots and what a difference in the photos! Now I am back to truly doing the work and creating art. Not only did the workshop help my shooting but it really opened my eyes to every aspect of starting a photography studio. There was so much information I knew I needed but wasn't sure how to approach it or how to get it. Enter the {enjoy} workshop! Erin was so willing to share every detail of her business and experiences. I think there is so much more behind stories like hers then a lecture you get in a seminar with a large group of people. Anytime you're starting out in any business it is hard to get the ball rolling, but I can honestly say since her workshop my clients have s
tarted rolling in much more. I highly recommend Erin's workshop, it is definitely worth the investment.

Erin's {enjoy} workshop was just what I needed to become more confident, self assured and business minded as a wedding photographer. She really went above and beyond my expectations with the materials that were covered ~ including what it takes to be successful and keep the ka-ching coming in ;).
Erin gave us an in depth look at what to expect from marketing and operating costs to client relations. The experience made me confident that my dream of becoming a wedding photographer and starting my own business is attainable. I am entirely grateful that I stumbled upon Erin and her workshop... she is not only an amazing photographer but a genuine, warm hearted inspiration to everyone she crosses paths with!

{enjoy} is not only a workshop, but a look into the life of a truly unique artist. Not only an Artist of Photography, but the Art of Business.

Erin is a unique person of her own, she opens her book of knowledge and shares her secrets, and the nuts and bolts to having a business. She makes your business personal to her. Erin has a big heart, and that is truly, I believe is what makes her so personable and easy to learn from. With some laughs along the way!

This workshop is an absolute necessity to anyone that plans on taking the risk of having a business now. She looks at your business not as a risk, but a opportunity to make your business successful in every way. She will give you the necessary tools to use and give you the confidence to better yourself, and to give your business the key elements it could be missing. The information she gives will just blow you away. It gives an inside look into the running of a successful entrepeneur. And makes you feel, THIS IS POSSIBLE FOR ME.

After Erin's {enjoy} workshop I gave myself the ability to have confidence in shooting manual only. And for some reason after Erin's workshop I now have 8 weddings booked for next year! NO kidding. It's like a little magic, so take it and {enjoy}!
